Isolation of Injury

This is a visual essay about the struggles an athlete feels when sidelined from an injury. Feelings of isolation, loneliness, and lack of belonging were common emotions I have experienced during my four recoveries from reconstructive knee surgeries. I wanted to tell my story from the sideline and spread awareness about the toll injuries can take on athletes.
